I'm reading the Notebook again and I'm always disappointed because I expect it to be more like the film, yet the time is oddly different - the first part of how they meet and fall in love takes up a lot of the film, whereas it seems to be gone in the first few chapters of the book. To answer the question: If you like romance you can try the notebook, the last song or the longest ride. The course language will be English but the course is suitable for teachers of any languages. I will use one of them for their compulsory reading this year.
